How fast and how are orders shipped?

Items on the website, unless otherwise clearly noted on the product page, are in stock and are shipped the next business day via USPS Priority Mail, which will deliver your package anywhere in the US including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico within a week, in most cases in three days or less. USPS Priority will also deliver to US military bases almost anywhere in the world, but that will take longer.

For express shipping, please request express shipping in the comments section at check out or call the store and our humans will process your shipping charges over the phone once they get your authorization for the appropriate speed and price. Express shipments also get shipped the next business day.

What is your exchange/refund policy?

If for some reason you get your greeting cards and one or more of them are just not right, we offer a fairly straightforward return policy for online purchases within the first two weeks after purchase. Simply pack the item up securely, ship it back to us insured for the full retail value of the item using a trackable delivery service like USPS Priority, Fedex or UPS.

Upon return to the store, we will only refund the same credit card used to purchase the item. Items returned to Arcadia MUST be in original, saleable condition with all packaging (INCLUDING PLASTIC SLEEVE AND ENVELOPE) in original condition. Items purchased from the Clearance Section are not returnable, and items purchased at a discounted price will only be refunded the discounted price at the time it was purchased.

For purchases in our Provincetown store, we do not offer refunds on card purchases. We offer an exceedingly generous exchange policy though; Arcadia has always accepted exchanges with a receipt only at ANY TIME, no matter how long you have had the product, as long as it is in original, saleable condition with all packaging, including plastic sleeve and envelope, in original condition. We want you to love your purchases – if you don’t love it, bring it back and lets find you something you really love!

I have an old store credit from your store in NYC. Can I still use it?

YES! a store credit is good until you use it. Call my humans or email them with the receipt # (top right corner) and if it’s seriously faded, if you can make out any part of it, they can probably find it in the computer and get you a new one. They can also create a discount code for you to use on the website if you won’t be visiting Provincetown any time soon.

Are orders placed on PickleandGomez.com processed differently than orders on ArcadiaPTown.com? Are they shipped separately?

Everything from both websites ships from our store in Provincetown, Massachusetts. If you just order cards, it will ship for free if you order more than $25, or you can pay $7 for shipping for just a few cards (or even one card if you want!). If you order products from ArcadiaPTown.com and from PickleandGomez.com, everything will ship for free because everything ships for free on ArcadiaPTown.com. Pretty cool, right?

Why don’t I pay sales tax on your website but I do in your store?

Sales tax is payable when a physical transaction takes place in one state, payable to that state. Interstate commerce is traditionally only taxed by the Federal government, so while your state may require you to report purchases made out of state in your yearly state tax forms, we are not required to charge you your state’s sales tax at the time of your purchase. Orders shipped within Massachusetts will be charged Massachusetts state sales tax of 6.25%. Purchases made in our store but shipped out of state are also not charged sales tax – and remember, shipping at Arcadia is always FREE!

I love a greeting card collection that I can’t find at my local card shop anymore. Can you carry it?
